Artists for Humanity began in 2026 with a question: rather than feeling helpless, what could artists do?

Everyday People.
During the border conflict, one of AFH’s artists expressed how sad and helpless he felt about what was happening. That conversation raised a simple question: rather than feeling helpless, what could artists do?
Artists were brought together and invited to use what they already had - their art - to become agents of change themselves. Each artist would contribute 50% of the proceeds from the sale of their work to a cause they wanted to support.
That idea became Everyday People, the first Artists for Humanity exhibition.
The result
US$32,000With the partnership of Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh, Raffles Hotel Le Royal and Rosewood Phnom Penh, Everyday People raised US$32,000.
Half of the funds raised went to Heartprint in Siem Reap, supporting its work with local communities through housing, education and workforce training.
The remaining half went directly to the participating artists.
The principle
Artists can be agents of change.
Art can do more than express how we feel about the world. It can help us change a small part of it.
